Practical notes
The Manager, Revenue Systems & Automation role at Storable represents a pivotal opportunity to own and evolve the core technology engine that powers our go-to-market and post-sales operations. In this position, you will be accountable for ensuring that our Salesforce ecosystem and connected tools not only function reliably but also deliver measurable business outcomes across every customer-facing team. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of platform initiatives, from discovery and requirements gathering through design, build, testing, and adoption. This includes defining and maintaining architectural guardrails, data models, and integration standards that keep our technology foundation secure, scalable, and transparent. You will partner directly with leaders in Sales, Marketing, Support, and Product to translate their strategic priorities into executable roadmap items and detailed technical specifications.
A core part of this role will be developing and coaching a high-performing team of Salesforce administrators, developers, and technical contributors. You will provide clear direction, remove blockers, and create an environment where individuals can grow their skills and take ownership of their work. This involves regular one-on-one coaching, constructive performance feedback, and thoughtful capacity planning to ensure that the team can meet current demands while building for the future. You will use frameworks like MoSCoW, RICE, and effort-versus-impact scoring to maintain a disciplined approach to prioritization, balancing urgent requests with strategic platform investments. You will also define and manage change-control and release-management processes to ensure that updates are delivered smoothly, with minimal disruption to end users.
In this role, you will be a key steward of data integrity and process automation within Storable's technology stack. You will establish and enforce standards around data modeling, field naming conventions, record types, and permission sets to ensure consistency and compliance across all Salesforce orgs. You will design and optimize automation using Salesforce Flows, Process Builder, and other declarative tools to reduce manual work and improve the accuracy of information flowing through our systems. You will also oversee the configuration and ongoing optimization of CPQ tools and other revenue-critical applications to ensure they support efficient quoting, contracting, and billing processes.
Integration and interoperability will be central themes of this position. You will work closely with integration specialists and business stakeholders to design and implement patterns that connect Salesforce with CRM, marketing automation, support, and other GTM technologies. This includes evaluating tools such as middleware, APIs, and platforms like HubSpot to ensure seamless data flow and a single source of truth. You will define integration standards, monitor system performance, and troubleshoot issues to maintain a stable and reliable technology environment. You will also leverage AI and automation tools, including solutions like Claude Code, to accelerate design work, improve documentation, and perform impact analysis across the platform.
Success in this role will be measured by your ability to enable customer-facing teams with reliable, intuitive, and scalable technology that drives revenue efficiency. You will track key platform metrics, identify bottlenecks, and continuously refine processes to improve user experience and system performance. By building strong partnerships with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Product, you will ensure that technology initiatives are aligned with business objectives and that stakeholders understand the value delivered by the platform. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical depth, and day-to-day execution. If you are passionate about building a best-in-class revenue technology foundation and leading a talented team of systems professionals, this role is an excellent fit.
