The position operates under a new duty order that defines clear accountability for market performance and client impact.
About the Role
The Transportation Market Leader is the primary owner of the market strategy for a critical sector within the firm. This executive is responsible for articulating a clear vision that drives client impact and solution quality. The role involves setting the direction for business performance, managing key client relationships, and leading the development of the team. Success in this position requires alignment between market opportunities and the operational capacity of the organization. The leader reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
Compensation and Location

The annual compensation range for this role is one hundred eighty thousand dollars to two hundred sixty thousand dollars.
Key Responsibilities
The Transportation Market Leader is accountable for a wide range of strategic and operational functions. Ensuring smooth operations is another key duty. This involves orchestrating solution delivery handoffs to ensure that build teams receive clear scope, realistic timelines, and defined success metrics. The leader must also guide solution validation checkpoints. These checkpoints confirm design assumptions, regulatory alignment, and the mitigation of potential risks before full implementation begins.
The role requires directing partner collaboration to create joint offerings, data platforms, and service models. The goal of these partnerships is to create durable value for both clients and the communities they serve. Finally, the leader monitors project outcomes and commercial health. This data is used to adjust tactics to strengthen client trust and maintain momentum in the future pipeline. The position also involves championing knowledge transfer to turn project insights into reusable methods, tools, and training for broader market teams.
