Forward-thinking marketers rely on StackAdapt to orchestrate high-impact campaigns in programmatic advertising and other marketing channels.
Role Overview and Location
This is a remote-first position open to candidates located anywhere in Canada. You will architect buyer journeys and own pixel-perfect delivery from discovery through launch. Your role is to transform complex ad-tech challenges into calm, coherent experiences for demanding marketers. You bring calm clarity to the team when campaigns and code collide.
Compensation Details
The compensation range for this role is 180,000 CAD to 220,000 CAD. These figures reflect the expected base salary for candidates in the posting country, informed by market data and approved budget. StackAdapt maintains different compensation ranges for roles across other countries and regions, and final offers will be aligned accordingly.
Key Responsibilities
You will conduct user interviews to surface ad-tech workflows and map emotional peaks and valleys across the buyer journey. You translate marketing team goals into flows, deciding which screens live together and which remain separate. You challenge assumptions by testing interactive concepts with real buyers and measuring drop-off along funnels.
You compose clear diagrams and narrative flows that explain complex bidding logic to non-technical stakeholders. You craft storyboards, prototypes, and interaction specs that guide engineers toward precise implementation. You map competitive positioning and feature gaps so product decisions reflect market reality for media buyers.
You share early sketches and clickable drafts, then adjust direction based on stakeholder input and test data. You coach other designers on standards, improving components, accessibility, and clarity across the platform. Collaboration with product managers, engineers, and other team members ensures a unified product vision and successful execution.
Required Qualifications and Experience
You bring four or more years of end-to-end design experience, moving from research through delivery without handoff excuses. Your portfolio demonstrates complex systems tamed into simple paths, along with before-and-after outcomes you discuss proudly. You deeply understand patterns such as usability heuristics and inclusive design, applying typography and colour with purpose.
Your communication is crisp in both writing and speaking, with word choices that match your audience and context. You defend design choices with empathy yet firmness, welcoming critique while protecting product integrity. Your tools include modern design systems, complemented by basic code awareness. You use analytics to validate decisions, understanding how product metrics connect to campaign performance.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Experience in ad-tech or programmatic media environments that value speed and clarity is considered an asset. Familiarity with the competitive landscape and evolving market needs helps you relate product offerings to real user problems.
Skills and Tools
Your daily work involves Figma, Pendo, and Fullstory. These tools support your design process, from research and prototyping to analytics validation. You use journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to drive product development efforts.
Design Philosophy and Impact
StackAdapt users value industry-leading user experience, simplicity, and ease of use while enabling complex workflows that help people complete their jobs faster. You contribute to this standard by testing, iterating, and improving designs to ensure the platform delivers its best foot forward. Your work directly influences how marketers engage with technology and achieve measurable results.
Application Process and Next Steps
Ensure your materials highlight relevant experience in product design, ad-tech environments, and analytics usage. Provide examples that show your ability to turn messy problems into coherent, delightful user experiences.
