About the role
You own the full quality journey for mobile products, hunting issues before users see them and guarding releases. You design testing that spans research through production, working closely with product and engineering. This role demands an open mind and strict ownership of quality outcomes. You will act as the primary quality advocate, ensuring that every release meets the highest standards of reliability and user experience. Your work will directly influence product stability and customer satisfaction by catching critical issues long before they impact end users. You will be responsible for building a robust safety net through comprehensive testing strategies. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is central to your success in this position.

What you'll do
Execute functional, regression, integration, and A/B testing throughout the development lifecycle.
Analyze, develop, implement, and support testing processes for both new and existing products as required.
Plan, evaluate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities with the QA team and leader.
Design, develop, implement, and maintain tasks, test cases, use cases, and user cases, and create test reports.
Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to ensure all defined requirements are met in the developed product.
Identify, describe, prioritize bugs, and communicate with developers and product teams to resolve issues.
Take ownership of reported defects and assigned tasks, ensuring proper tracking, resolution, and retesting according to the required lifecycle and impact.
Ensure that the product meets applicable regulatory requirements, standards, and restrictions.
Continuously expand knowledge of new technologies, testing methods, and tools.
Design test plans and map scenarios to ensure coverage for every release cycle.
Automate test workflows in Java or Python, using REST clients like Postman for reliable checks.
Monitor Figma implementations for visual mismatches and report discrepancies clearly.
Manage Jira and TestRail artifacts, organizing cases, checklists, and reports for traceability.
Investigate bugs, coordinate fixes with developers, and verify resolutions through retesting.
Test network flows using Proxyman and evaluate MCP-based integrations for correct behavior.
Requirements
You bring 4+ years testing mobile apps, with deep knowledge of methodologies and test design.
You possess expert-level proficiency with test management tools such as Jira and TestRail.
You demonstrate expert-level proficiency with Git and fluency in Agile and Scrum practices.
You show expert-level proficiency with Proxyman for in-depth analysis and modification of network traffic.
You have a strong understanding of test strategy and test plan development.
You maintain extensive experience creating and maintaining automated tests in Java or Python.
You have experience using REST clients such as Postman or similar tools.
You show advanced proficiency in Figma, with the ability to identify complex discrepancies between implementation and design systems.
You use AI assistants confidently to generate test scenarios, analyze logs, and review code for automated tests.
You possess a deep technical understanding of MCP (Model Context Protocol) and the ability to test MCP-based integrations.
You have good written and spoken English skills.
