About the role
You will define and execute the company's IT strategy in close partnership with business leaders to align technology with long-term corporate objectives. You will own the full lifecycle of IT Service Management, driving process maturity and continuous improvement across Support, Infrastructure, and Security. You will build and coach a high-performing, cross-functional team while fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and operational excellence. You will lead the design and implementation of robust information security and risk management programs to protect corporate assets and ensure regulatory compliance. You will manage complex international certification initiatives, guiding the organization through audit preparation and evidence collection from start to finish. You will oversee technology budgeting, vendor relationships, and strategic sourcing to optimize cost and value. You will ensure business continuity by maintaining and testing resilient infrastructure, disaster recovery, and incident response capabilities at all times.

What you'll do
Define the enterprise IT strategy and translate business priorities into a clear technology roadmap with measurable milestones.
Lead, mentor, and develop IT Support, Systems Engineering, and Information Security teams, setting clear goals, performance expectations, and career growth paths.
Champion IT Service Management frameworks and drive improvements to operational processes, SLAs, and user satisfaction metrics.
Ensure the reliability, availability, and scalability of corporate infrastructure, cloud environments, and critical business applications.
Own and evolve the corporate information security strategy, including risk assessments, threat detection, and protection of information assets.
Manage the full lifecycle of IT budgets, vendor negotiations, and procurement to control costs and maximize value.
Lead international certification and compliance programs such as ISO 27001, ISO 22301, and ISO 9001 from design through audit execution.
Develop and maintain Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans, coordinating response and recovery activities during incidents.
Drive technology modernization, cloud migration, and automation initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce operational risk.
Establish governance structures, reporting cadences, and decision-making frameworks for IT operations and strategy.
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to align IT initiatives with business outcomes and customer needs.
Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to guide ongoing investment and capability development.
Promote a culture of security, data protection, and compliance across all teams through training, communication, and process enforcement.
Provide executive-level communication on IT performance, risks, and strategic initiatives to senior leadership and the C-suite.
Requirements
Bring a strong background in IT leadership with a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in the field.
Hold at least 2 years of proven experience managing teams and delivering complex IT initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrate deep expertise in corporate IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud platforms.
Show solid understanding of information security principles, controls, and technologies such as identity and access management, endpoint detection and response, and security information and event management.
Have hands-on experience with compliance, risk management, and audit processes related to ISO 27001, ISO 22301, and ISO 9001 standards.
Possess at least Upper-Intermediate level of written and spoken English to communicate effectively with global stakeholders.
Exhibit a strategic mindset combined with hands-on technical ownership and strong problem-solving abilities.
Communicate clearly and persuasively with both technical and non-technical audiences at all organizational levels.
Nice to have
Have direct experience implementing or migrating enterprise platforms such as ITSM, IAM, or cloud-based solutions.
Understand DevOps practices and how they integrate into enterprise IT environments to enable faster delivery and reliability.
Be familiar with IT governance frameworks such as COBIT or NIST to guide control design and maturity assessments.
Hold an advanced academic degree such as a Master's or MBA, and/or possess relevant professional certifications in IT management or information security.
Practical notes
The role is offered as a gig-contract engagement with flexible location options including Kyiv, Lviv, and Remote.
