What you'll do

Design and implement robust data pipelines to ensure the seamless flow of data from various sources into our analytics platform.
Collaborate with data scientists and business analysts to understand their data needs and translate them into technical specifications.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide insights into key performance indicators (KPIs) for various business units.
Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that can inform business strategies and initiatives.
Optimize existing data models and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in reporting.
Work closely with the data engineering team to ensure data integrity and consistency across different systems.
Participate in the design and execution of A/B testing and other experimental methodologies to evaluate the impact of new features or changes.
Provide training and support to team members on data tools and analytics best practices, fostering a data-driven culture within the organization.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in analytics to continuously enhance our analytical capabilities.
Document processes, methodologies, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity within the team.
Assist in the development of data governance policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and data privacy standards.
Engage in regular communication with stakeholders to present findings and recommendations based on data analysis.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in analytics or data engineering roles, preferably within the financial services sector.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
Strong programming skills in Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and data warehousing solutions.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with large datasets to derive meaningful insights.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices.

Nice to have

Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow).
Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration processes.
Previous experience in a fintech or startup environment.
Understanding of regulatory requirements related to data in the financial sector.
Certification in data analytics or related fields (e.g., Google Data Analytics, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate).
