The Training & Capability Specialist will play a crucial role in shaping the commercial training strategy, ensuring that our sales teams are well-equipped to effectively promote and sell our diverse range of financial products and services. Key facts
What you'll do
- Develop and implement an annual commercial enablement strategy tailored for both internal and external sales teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Create and oversee certification programs that assess and validate the knowledge of team members regarding new products, features, and any regulatory updates.
- Analyze sales performance data and gather feedback from stakeholders to identify areas where training is lacking or could be improved.
- Design and facilitate training sessions in various formats, including virtual, hybrid, and face-to-face, to accommodate different learning preferences.
- Manage the onboarding process for new sales staff, ensuring they receive the necessary training and resources for a smooth transition into their roles.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure that sales messaging is consistent and effectively executed across all channels.
- Monitor and manage the budget allocated for Commercial Training, including the oversight of external vendors and Learning Management System (LMS) platforms.
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments based on feedback and performance outcomes.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the sales teams, encouraging ongoing skill enhancement.
- Serve as a mentor and coach to sales personnel, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their targets.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in training and development to ensure that Spin remains competitive in the market.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in training and development, with a focus on enhancing the capabilities of sales teams.
- A solid background in fintech, technology, Software as a Service (SaaS), or financial services is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to distill complex product information into clear and actionable training materials for sales personnel.
- Experience in leading interactive training sessions for large groups, fostering engagement and participation.
- Proficiency in managing Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is necessary.
Nice to have
- Professional certifications in training methodologies or coaching would be advantageous.
- Experience in developing e-learning modules or digital training content.
- Knowledge of current trends in sales enablement and training technologies.
