What you'll do
Orchestrate the full lifecycle of robotic process automation components, from initial discovery and design through deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement in production environments.
Define and enforce standards for version control, branch strategies, and pull request workflows so that automation code remains traceable, reviewable, and safe to change.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that automate testing, validation, and promotion of automation bots, ensuring releases are reliable, repeatable, and auditable.
Design and implement automated test suites that validate bot behavior, including edge cases, error handling, and compliance checkpoints, to reduce manual regression efforts.
Consume and design RESTful APIs that enable bots to interact with backend systems, transforming complex business requirements into resilient, automated workflows.
Partner closely with engineering and business stakeholders to translate operational needs into technical specifications and automation roadmaps that support fintech objectives.
Monitor bot performance and health metrics, investigate failures, and coordinate rapid responses to incidents, minimizing disruption to financial processes.
Champion software engineering best practices such as modular design, error handling, logging, and security controls within automation solutions.
Lead technical documentation for automation components, ensuring that process maps, bot logic, and configuration details are current and accessible.
Identify opportunities to scale automation across teams, standardize patterns, and eliminate technical debt to improve long-term maintainability.
Support interview processes for automation roles by providing technical assessments, reviewing candidate submissions, and sharing insights on fit and capability.
Continuously explore new tools, frameworks, and approaches in the robotic and automation space, evaluating their potential value for the organization's fintech context.
Promote a culture of learning and experimentation within the team, encouraging knowledge sharing, blameless postmortems, and constructive feedback.
Act as an automation thought partner to product and operations, advising on where automation can deliver measurable efficiency, compliance, and cost savings.
Requirements
More than five years of RPA development experience is required, including hands-on work with platforms and frameworks common in enterprise automation.
Senior level certifications such as UiPath Advanced are essential, demonstrating deep technical capability and commitment to the profession.
Essential experience in the financial technology or fintech sector applies directly to this role, with a strong understanding of compliance, risk, and operational controls.
You must be proficient in software engineering practices, including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and consuming or designing REST APIs.
You should have a track record of writing clean, maintainable code and building automation that is robust, testable, and easy to debug.
Strong analytical skills are required to diagnose issues in complex workflows, interpret logs, and determine root causes in distributed automation environments.
You must be comfortable working in regulated environments where documentation, traceability, and auditability are non negotiable.
Effective written and verbal communication is required, as you will regularly interact with technical and business audiences and document decisions for future reference.

Experience with orchestration tools and scheduling frameworks that support automated bot operations in production.
Familiarity with monitoring and observability platforms used to track bot health, performance, and SLA compliance.
