About the role

This role focuses on the intersection of technical implementation and developer experience within the X Developer Platform. You will build production solutions for enterprise clients while creating tools and documentation that help developers integrate X API data into their own applications. Key facts

What you'll do

• Partner with enterprise customers to build production-grade solutions, prototypes, and integrations using the X API.
• Develop and maintain sample applications, starter kits, and reference implementations.
• Build developer tools including SDKs, MCPs, CLIs, and sandbox environments.
• Author technical documentation, tutorials, and blog posts focusing on AI agents, LLMs, and real-time data.
• Audit onboarding flows and documentation to improve accessibility and ease of use.
• Gather feedback from the developer community to influence product roadmaps and feature prioritization.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide scalable solutions for partners.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to define and refine the platform's public interface.
• Implement end-to-end workflows that demonstrate the full potential of the X API for prospective clients.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure that all deliverables meet high standards for quality and maintainability.
• Monitor the performance of deployed integrations to identify opportunities for optimization.
• Lead technical workshops and design sessions to align solutions with customer objectives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles such as solutions architecture, partner engineering, or developer relations.
• Proficiency in writing production-grade code in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Java.
• Understanding of API design, REST/GraphQL, authentication, and real-time streaming systems.
• Experience building developer-facing assets like reference implementations and technical guides.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both engineering and business stakeholders.
• Project management skills to execute initiatives autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• A strong commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism and responsiveness in all interactions.
• Willingness to work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve technical and operational challenges.

Nice to have

• Experience building developer platforms, SDKs, or interactive playgrounds.
• Hands-on knowledge of AI agent frameworks and LLM integrations.
