Operations Engineer
Job description
About the role
SpaceXAI builds AI systems designed to interpret the universe and support human knowledge. We are looking for an operations engineer to join our infrastructure team to design and activate large-scale AI compute facilities. The successful candidate will own the end-to-end operational lifecycle of our physical infrastructure, ensuring reliability and efficiency from construction through daily operations. You will serve as the primary liaison between construction teams, maintenance crews, and technical stakeholders to maintain seamless execution. This role requires a systems thinker who can translate complex operational challenges into standardized, scalable processes. You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement across all site functions to support rapid growth. The position demands strong ownership and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. Your work will directly enable the performance and uptime of the AI hardware that powers our mission.
