About the role
The Starlink Aviation division is on the lookout for an experienced sales expert to drive the expansion of high-speed internet connectivity within airport and ground operations. Your primary responsibility will be to secure enterprise contracts with airlines and aviation service providers, aiming to enhance the infrastructure at gates, hangars, and passenger facilities.

What you'll do
- Oversee the entire sales process for terrestrial enterprise agreements with current aviation clients.
- Identify and pursue new growth avenues while formulating commercial strategies for ground-based services.
- Report directly to the Global Head of Starlink Aviation, ensuring alignment with overarching business goals.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and regulatory teams to ensure sales objectives are in sync with technical capabilities.
- Develop comprehensive proposals, business terms, and sales materials to support client engagement.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback regarding ground operations to help shape the product development roadmap.
- Establish and maintain a robust sales pipeline to facilitate effective territory planning and management.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape, adjusting strategies as necessary.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders in the aviation sector to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
- Mentor and guide junior sales team members, sharing best practices and strategies for success.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in engineering or business, coupled with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in sales, partnerships, or corporate strategy; or alternatively, 10 years of professional experience in these areas without a degree.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee to comply with ITAR regulations.
- Capability to work onsite in Woodinville, WA, ensuring close collaboration with the team.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Flexibility to work weekends and extended hours when necessary to meet business demands.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and internal teams.
