You will oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle and serve as a key liaison for candidates, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience throughout their journey with us.

What you'll do
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop effective hiring strategies, and gather feedback on candidates throughout the interview process.
- Oversee the complete candidate journey, from initial outreach and screening to negotiating job offers and facilitating onboarding procedures.
- Conduct candidate tours of our facilities and participate in onsite interviews to help assess talent suitability.
- Employ innovative sourcing techniques to connect with passive candidates and broaden our talent pool.
- Manage the offer process, ensuring all necessary background checks are completed and final compensation packages are communicated effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and progress in our applicant tracking system.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management regarding recruitment metrics and candidate status.
- Foster a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear communication and providing timely feedback throughout the hiring process.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in recruiting to continuously improve our processes.
- Engage in networking activities and attend industry events to promote SpaceX as an employer of choice.
- Collaborate with the HR team to enhance our employer branding and outreach initiatives.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance your recruiting skills and knowledge of the aerospace industry.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree combined with a minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience, or an associate degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience, or 7 years of professional recruiting experience.
- Must be able to work onsite in Redmond, WA on a full-time basis.
- Willingness to extend work hours and be available on weekends when necessary.
- Compliance with ITAR regulations is required; candidates must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees.
Nice to have
- Over 3 years of experience in technical recruiting, particularly in engineering fields.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing candidates for specialized roles.
- Previous experience in high-volume or in-house recruiting environments.
- Familiarity with hiring for roles such as electrical, mechanical, and aerospace engineers or skilled trades.
- Ability to analyze recruitment data and generate insightful reports.
- Experience working with senior leadership, including directors and VPs, to align recruitment strategies with organizational goals.
Skills & tools
- Proficient in full lifecycle recruiting practices.
- Skilled in cold calling and executing targeted sourcing campaigns.
- Experienced in managing candidate pipelines effectively.
- Strong negotiation skills for job offers and compensation discussions.
- Competent in evaluating and reporting on recruitment metrics and data.
Practical notes
The salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $150,000 annually, based on your experience and skill set. In addition to a competitive salary, our total rewards package includes potential long-term incentives, stock options, discretionary bonuses, and access to an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
