What you'll do
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to establish headcount requirements, develop effective hiring strategies, and gather interview feedback to refine the selection process.
- Oversee the complete recruitment cycle, from initial candidate assessments to the negotiation of final job offers, ensuring a seamless experience for all candidates.
- Implement proactive sourcing techniques to identify and engage with passive candidates who possess the skills and experience we need.
- Conduct candidate tours of our facilities and participate in onsite interviews to evaluate technical competencies and cultural fit.
- Streamline the onboarding process, which includes conducting background checks and distributing offer letters to new hires.
- Maintain a high-energy workflow that effectively balances administrative responsibilities with active engagement of candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Utilize data-driven approaches to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of candidates for various technical roles, ensuring a steady flow of talent for current and future hiring needs.
- Foster relationships with external recruitment agencies and professional networks to enhance sourcing capabilities.
- Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment metrics to senior leadership, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in recruitment to continuously enhance our hiring processes.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 1 year of recruiting experience, or an Associate degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or 3 years of professional recruiting experience without a degree.
- Must be available to work onsite in Bastrop, TX on a full-time basis.
- Willingness to extend work hours and be available on weekends as needed to meet recruitment goals.
- Candidates must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees to comply with ITAR regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with candidates and hiring managers.
- Proven ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Nice to have
- At least 2 years of experience specifically in technical recruiting, particularly in aerospace or engineering sectors.
- Experience in SGA (Skilled Generalist Associate) recruiting, with a focus on technical roles.
- A background in in-house recruiting, demonstrating familiarity with organizational culture and needs.
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing hiring processes, understanding the unique challenges involved.
- Expertise in recruiting for specialized roles such as electrical, mechanical, and aerospace engineers, as well as skilled labor positions.
- A track record of identifying and attracting top-tier talent, distinguishing between the top 5% and the top 50% of candidates.
- Familiarity with non-traditional sourcing methods, including cold calling and targeted networking strategies.
- Ability to influence and provide strategic advice to technical leadership at the director and VP levels.
- Proficiency in analyzing recruitment data and generating reports to inform decision-making.
