About the role
SpaceX is seeking a lead to manage global offline media strategy for Starlink. You will oversee campaigns across audio, television, and out-of-home channels to expand brand reach and generate high-quality user interest. In this capacity, you will define the narrative of the brand in physical spaces where digital presence is limited. The role requires ownership of end to end campaign lifecycles without reliance on digital platforms or programmatic tools. You will serve as the central strategist for traditional media channels ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. The position demands rigorous analysis of legacy media environments to drive efficient user acquisition. You will be accountable for translating abstract marketing goals into concrete media schedules and geographic rollouts.

What you'll do
- Manage the full lifecycle of offline campaigns, including research, planning, budgeting, and optimization across television, audio, and out-of-home placements.
- Coordinate with product and content teams to align creative messaging with target audience needs and ensure narrative consistency across all traditional channels.
- Direct media agency partners on campaign scoping, contract negotiations, and creative execution while maintaining strict adherence to timelines and deliverables.
- Perform market research and audience analysis to guide media mix decisions and refine creative strategy for maximum resonance in key territories.
- Build a roadmap for offline marketing in key markets, including specific local activations that account for regional regulations and cultural nuances.
- Experiment with new publishers and formats to identify growth opportunities within non digital environments and unconventional media placements.
- Oversee legal compliance, asset delivery, and project timelines to ensure all campaigns meet internal standards and external regulations.
- Collaborate with analytics teams to track performance and report on campaign results using offline specific metrics and qualitative feedback loops.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key media vendors to secure premium placements and favorable rate cards across global markets.
- Lead cross functional workshops to align stakeholders on campaign objectives, target demographics, and success criteria for offline initiatives.
- Evaluate the performance of traditional media channels and reallocate budget toward high impact placements based on empirical evidence.
- Champion innovative approaches to physical media consumption, integrating emerging formats where they align with strategic goals.
- Ensure all campaigns support the broader business goals of Starlink by tracking user interest and pipeline generation from offline sources.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external partners, internal teams, and executive stakeholders regarding all matters related to offline media.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field as a foundational requirement for understanding complex media environments.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in offline media, such as radio, podcasts, OOH, or TV, demonstrating a track record of success in traditional channels.
- Proven history of negotiating directly with media vendors and networks to secure placements and optimize cost structures.
- Ability to work on-site five days per week to ensure seamless collaboration with global teams and partners.
- Availability for extended hours, weekends, and travel as required to meet campaign deadlines and respond to market opportunities.
- Must meet ITAR requirements: U.S. citizen, national, green card holder, refugee, or asylee to comply with export control regulations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate strategy to diverse audiences and stakeholders.
- Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy in all deliverables.

Practical notes
- Salary range for Level III is $130,000 to $150,000 per year.
- Total rewards include potential stock options, long-term cash awards, discretionary bonuses, and an employee stock purchase plan.
