Human Resources Coordinator
Job description
About the role
This role provides essential HR support for the employee lifecycle at the Starbase location, where the Starship program is built and launched. As an HR Coordinator you will be the behind-the-scenes hands that keep people operations running smoothly: managing day-to-day records and processes, support onboarding from the first conversation to the first day, and being a reliable, dependable point of contact for staff and management on company policy. The site is growing fast, and the HR team is a small team handling a big workload, which means speed, accuracy, and judgment all matter. You are balancing employee claims, verifications, internal audit requirements, and the many small requests that come across an HR desk in a day, and you are expected to do it with the same operational intensity as the rest of the site. Records here carry twice the weight: a data point about a person, and a data point in an audit trail, and both need to be right the first time. This role is full-time and on-site, and requires relocation to the Brownsville, Texas area. Starbase is a company town built around launch operations, so the HR team here supports a workforce that works in shifts, moves fast, and needs its people processes to be just as reliable as the hardware down the road.
