About the role
In this role, you will oversee the growth and management of Starlink services throughout Latin America. Your responsibilities will encompass both strategic planning and hands-on execution, ensuring that operations align with the company's ambitious growth objectives and comply with local regulations. You will serve as a key link between high-level strategic initiatives and their practical implementation in the field.

What you'll do
- Develop and implement strategic plans to penetrate new markets and drive operational expansion for Starlink services.
- Analyze performance indicators such as activation rates, product availability, and overall market health to inform decision-making.
- Oversee the allocation of resources and create business models tailored to specific Starlink verticals.
- Collaborate with leadership to design and monitor initiatives aimed at enhancing business performance.
- Streamline internal processes and systems to facilitate better cross-departmental collaboration and improve the customer experience.
- Work closely with both internal teams and external partners to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Provide insights and guidance to internal stakeholders regarding market timelines and operational needs.
- Lead the development of market entry strategies that align with SpaceX's broader objectives in the region.
- Foster relationships with local governments and regulatory bodies to support operational compliance.
- Conduct regular assessments of market conditions and competitive landscapes to inform strategic adjustments.
- Prepare and present reports on operational performance and strategic initiatives to senior management.
- Mentor and guide junior team members to enhance their skills and contribute to team success.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as STEM, business, economics, or finance.
- A minimum of four years of experience in areas such as strategic planning, project management, or business operations.
- At least one year of experience working internationally or managing operations outside the United States.
- Proficiency in analytical tools, particularly with at least one year of experience in Excel modeling.
- Candidates must meet ITAR requirements, which include being a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Experience in managing complex strategic projects in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
- Proven ability to lead projects autonomously and deliver results.
- Familiarity with SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Knowledge of programming languages including Python, JavaScript, R, HTML, XML, CSS, or Ruby.
- Exceptional communication skills, particularly in engaging with senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Experience in the telecommunications or technology sectors is a plus.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel modeling.
- Experience with SQL for database management and analysis.
- Familiarity with data visualization software like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, R, HTML, XML, CSS, or Ruby to support data analysis and reporting.
Practical notes
- This role may require travel up to 50% of the time to various locations within Latin America.
- Candidates should be prepared for extended work hours, including weekends, as needed to meet project deadlines.
