About the role
In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing Starlink's mission to provide internet access to underserved communities worldwide. Your primary focus will be on developing and executing strategies that ensure the sustainability and success of initiatives aimed at social impact. This position requires you to manage key accounts from the initial contract phase through to activation and ongoing support, with a strong emphasis on projects that benefit humanitarian and educational efforts.

What you'll do
- Act as the main point of contact for Strategic Connectivity accounts, ensuring smooth onboarding, effective account management, and fostering long-term relationships that drive social and humanitarian benefits.
- Provide exceptional customer service to communities that currently lack reliable internet access, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
- Develop and implement engagement strategies and create content that encourages ongoing growth and self-sufficiency in underserved regions.
- Cultivate relationships to gain insights into customer needs and manage their expectations effectively.
- Collect and relay customer feedback to internal teams to inform product and technical enhancements.
- Promote a culture of accountability that encourages growth and enhances process efficiency across initiatives.
- Help articulate Starlink's narrative around social impact by documenting success stories, case studies, and reports that highlight measurable improvements in education, healthcare, and economic development in remote areas.
- Oversee strategic partnerships with external organizations, including international aid agencies, philanthropic foundations, and regulatory authorities.
- Advocate for policy changes within the organization to integrate social impact into Starlink's core values, including training, resource allocation, and performance incentives aligned with impact objectives.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in consulting, project management, or strategic planning is essential.
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role managing vendors, commercial or government contracts, or business/enterprise clients is necessary.
- Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends as required to meet critical project milestones or operational needs.
- Willingness to travel to various SpaceX locations, customer sites, and international destinations as needed.
Nice to have
- Proven experience in leading negotiations effectively.
- A demonstrated ability to manage multiple new products or programs from initial concept through to full implementation.
- A history of independently defining and managing complex projects with oversight from executive leadership.
- Experience in interpreting, negotiating, and influencing technical requirements in high-pressure environments.
- Background in managing several large-scale projects while delivering results under tight deadlines, limited resources, and geopolitical challenges.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of identifying root causes and implementing systemic improvements.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to create presentations for executive audiences, impact reports, and narrative content.
- Exceptional empathy, active listening, resilience, and stakeholder management abilities, particularly in diverse cultural or regional contexts.
- Proficiency in reading, drafting, and negotiating complex contracts, with a solid understanding of requirements, deliverables, and associated risks.
