The Head Coach at Solidcore is the linchpin of the Oak Brook studio, responsible for embodying the brand's ethos in every interaction and class. This role requires a relentless passion for the Solidcore methodology and a commitment to operational excellence that drives the studio toward record-breaking performance. You will own the complete member journey, from the first intake to long-term retention, ensuring that every individual experiences transformative results. As the standard-bearer for coaching excellence, you will deliver an average of eleven high-energy, technically precise classes each week while maintaining an atmosphere of motivation and support. This position serves as the primary developer of your coaching team, providing real-time guidance and structured training to elevate the entire staff's capabilities. You will analyze performance data and session footage to refine techniques, ensuring that the instructional bar is perpetually raised for the entire team. Strategic collaboration with the Area Manager will ensure that local studio objectives are seamlessly aligned with the aggressive growth targets of the Solidcore brand. Ultimately, you will foster a community where members feel seen, challenged, and empowered, establishing a cultural benchmark that defines the industry.

What you'll do
- Execute the comprehensive intake process for new members, mapping their fitness history to the optimal class level to ensure immediate success.
- Architect and manage a weekly class schedule that balances foundational movements with progressive intensity, maximizing member engagement and retention.
- Conduct detailed review of session recordings to identify technical nuances and provide actionable feedback that enhances instructor precision.
- Serve as the central distributor of strategic directives, ensuring the instructor team operates with absolute clarity on weekly priorities and objectives.
- Partner directly with the Area Manager to translate corporate vision into tangible studio-level goals, driving consistent overachievement against key performance indicators.
- Lead live training blocks that develop new talent, providing personalized coaching that accelerates the proficiency and confidence of instructors.
- Establish and maintain uncompromising class standards, focusing on precise cueing, intelligent pacing, and the highest level of safety for every participant.
- Analyze community engagement metrics to identify opportunities for new programs and initiatives that strengthen the member ecosystem.
- Champion the integration of online and offline community elements, creating cohesive experiences that deepen member loyalty and interaction.
- Model the behaviors of a high-performing leader, demonstrating resilience, adaptability, and a solution-oriented mindset under pressure.
- Ensure all operational procedures within the coaching scope are executed flawlessly, maintaining the integrity of the Solidcore brand experience.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, soliciting feedback from both peers and members to refine the studio environment.
- Act as the primary liaison between the coaching staff and upper management, facilitating transparent and efficient communication.
- Drive the implementation of new training protocols and methodologies to keep the coaching team at the forefront of the industry.
- Cultivate an environment of accountability and support, where every team member is empowered to reach their full potential.
Requirements
- Possess current Solidcore instructor certification in good standing.
- Hold a minimum of three years of experience teaching group fitness formats.
- Demonstrate a proven ability to coach individuals across a wide spectrum of fitness levels effectively.
- Exhibit full commitment to the 2024 schedule, including all designated evening and weekend shifts without exception.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and high energy levels for the duration of every class and interaction.
- Adhere strictly to the safety and technical standards established by the Solidcore methodology.
- Communicate clearly and constructively with both team members and studio members on a daily basis.
- Display a strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
