About the role
You will own the client journey from the moment they step into the studio, guiding them through the signature 50-minute, full-body, low-impact classes with confidence and clarity. You will be the primary educator for our resistance-based machines, breaking down complex movements so that clients of all backgrounds can execute them safely and effectively. You will empower every participant to push through challenging moments, offering support and motivation that helps them surpass the limits they thought were fixed. You will think quickly on your feet, adapting cues and encouragement to suit different skill levels and energy levels within the same small group. You will foster an environment where the low lights and on-point music combine with your presence to create an inspiring community space. You will build accountability partnerships with clients, tracking their progress and celebrating milestones that reinforce their belief in their own potential. You will be a living example of the [solidcore] mindset, demonstrating dedication and investment in the people around you. What you'll do
Deliver precise coaching during 50-minute classes, ensuring every participant understands the purpose and execution of each resistance-based movement.
Educate clients on the proper use of our machines, translating technical resistance settings into simple, actionable steps.
Create an atmosphere where the community feels inspiring, using your energy to elevate the mood and effort of the entire room.
Think quickly to provide real-time support and motivation tailored to the needs of each client in the group setting.
Personalize attention for every participant, offering subtle adjustments and cues that help them feel seen and supported.
Accountability partners check in with clients, monitor their development, and reinforce consistency through encouragement and feedback.
Champion the mindset of pushing through challenging moments, helping clients discover capacity beyond their perceived limits.
Maintain the integrity of the [solidcore] method by upholding standards for form, effort, and mutual respect within the group environment.
Collaborate with training managers to absorb feedback and refine your coaching technique over time.
Serve as a visible ambassador for the brand, embodying the passion and dedication that defines the [solidcore] community.
Support the rapid growth of the team by stepping into new opportunities and taking ownership of your section of the studio floor.
Act as a guide for individuals at different skill levels, ensuring that both beginners and advanced participants feel capable and challenged.
Use your presence and voice to keep the class intensity high while maintaining a supportive and inclusive environment.
Demonstrate the impact of the program by helping clients track their progress and recognize their own achievements.
Requirements
You must be able to pass a comprehensive background check as part of the hiring process for [solidcore].
You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship at this time.
You must be available to work scheduled shifts in the Closter, New Jersey area consistently.
You must commit to undergoing [solidcore]'s comprehensive training program before leading any classes.
You must be able to learn and demonstrate the correct use of resistance-based machines during training.
You must be comfortable working in a small group setting where your cues impact multiple people at once.
You must be able to think quickly and adapt your communication style to different skill levels.
You must be dedicated to holding yourself and others accountable in a supportive and non-judgmental way.
You must be willing to accept feedback from training managers and apply it to improve your coaching.
Nice to have
An understanding of how to coach through challenging physical and mental barriers.
Experience creating structured cues that make complex movements feel simple.
A natural ability to build trust and rapport quickly with new people.
Practical notes
This is a part-time coaching role with a schedule that will be coordinated directly with the training manager.
Training groups are small, highly selective, and designed to provide individualized support and tight-knit relationships.
Training managers offer ample feedback and trackable goals to help you grow into the role.
Prior fitness teaching experience or fitness certification is not required for this position.
