Key facts
What you'll do
Deliver departmental revenue, payroll, and profitability targets for the Health Club while safeguarding margins and member value.
Monitor KPIs daily and weekly to inform decision-making, using data to refine scheduling, staffing, and service standards.
Identify opportunities to improve utilization, member engagement, and revenue across recovery and wellness touchpoints.
Champion advanced wellness technologies such as hyperbaric oxygen therapy and red light therapy to ensure safe, efficient, and premium execution.
Own the end to end member experience for recovery services, from first touchpoint through post-session follow up and retention efforts.
Lead, coach, and develop Health Club teams to elevate performance, consistency, and service excellence in a luxury environment.
Establish operating procedures and standards that reflect best in class hospitality and wellness practices for both staff and members.
Ensure strong compliance with health and safety legislation, managing risks proactively and maintaining rigorous standards in a high touch setting.
Support the launch of new recovery offerings and longevity services, contributing to commercial growth and differentiation in the market.
Act as the operational owner in a fast-paced opening environment, navigating changing priorities with clarity and resilience.
Maintain a current understanding of the wellness industry, including trends, technologies, and competitive benchmarks that shape member expectations.
Partner closely with House leadership to align Lazy Lab with broader guest offerings, enhancing the integrated hospitality experience.
Requirements
The posting states a bachelor's degree requirement. 5 years' experience managing a premium health club, luxury spa, wellness club, or hospitality operation.
Previous pre-opening experience is highly desirable for this role.
Strong operational knowledge across wellness and recovery environments.
Demonstrated experience delivering commercial targets and managing departmental budgets.
Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
Experience with recovery technologies, longevity services, or advanced wellness offerings is advantageous.
Spa or Gym qualification preferred.
Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and risk management.
Knowledge of the current wellness industry.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced opening environment with changing priorities.
