About the role
The role leads the launch and operation of membership for Soho House Venice Beach while shaping regional strategy in Los Angeles. It establishes a founding committee and delivers opening events with the Membership Director. A deep knowledge of wellness culture in Venice and across Los Angeles guides the membership strategy.

What you'll do
Membership targets for the House are achieved through focused acquisition and a visible presence as the primary membership face.
The complete membership journey is managed, covering acquisition, onboarding, ongoing management, and long-term retention of all members.
Membership application quality is upheld through careful review and guidance, ensuring each application aligns with the House Identity Plan.
Membership events are designed, hosted, and attended, with a consistent floor presence of at least two nights weekly to build strong relationships.
Membership data and performance indicators are tracked, including application rates, retention, churn, and revenue to guide decisions.
At-risk members are identified together with the MST team, and tailored engagement is delivered to strengthen long-term retention.
Member events are developed and executed based on the House Identity Plan to boost satisfaction, attendance, and high-quality guest referrals.
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree is required as stated in the position profile.
A strong personal network and connections within creative disciplines local to Venice Beach are necessary.
A highly social, outgoing approach that values personal interactions is essential.
The ability to turn contacts and connections into applications and revenue through active outreach is required.
Small team leadership capability, including mentoring and setting direction, is expected.
Strong communication skills are needed to work effectively across teams.
A commitment to a minimum of two nights in-house each week for events and member engagement is mandatory.
