SoFi is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager for our Workday HCM team. This pivotal position will focus on optimizing our Human Capital Management processes through the Workday platform. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Workday HCM, showcasing their ability to lead projects, enhance system functionality, and drive strategic initiatives. What you'll do
- Lead the implementation and ongoing management of Workday HCM modules, ensuring they meet organizational needs and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and execute enhancements within the Workday platform.
- Oversee the configuration and optimization of Workday HCM, including core HR, talent management, and payroll functionalities.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system processes, configurations, and user guides to facilitate training and knowledge transfer.
- Analyze HR data and metrics to provide insights that drive decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Workday-related inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and providing timely resolutions.
- Mentor and develop a team of Workday analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Stay abreast of Workday updates and industry trends to ensure SoFi remains at the forefront of HR technology advancements.
- Collaborate with external vendors and consultants to manage system upgrades, integrations, and other technical projects.
- Design and implement training programs for HR staff and end-users to enhance their proficiency with Workday tools and features.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of HR processes and systems.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions to align HR technology initiatives with SoFi's overall business goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working with Workday HCM, with a proven track record of successful implementations and management.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and payroll.
- Demonstrated experience in project management, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience mentoring and developing team members.
- Familiarity with HR compliance regulations and best practices, particularly in relation to data privacy and security.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with data visualization tools and reporting capabilities within Workday is a plus.
Nice to have
- Workday certification in HCM or related modules.
- Experience in a financial services or technology company.
- Knowledge of additional HR technologies and tools that integrate with Workday.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Previous experience working in a remote or hybrid work environment.
