ABOUT THE ROLE
The Strategic Operations Lead, Public Sector serves as a force multiplier for Socure's Public Sector business, supporting federal, state, and local government agencies - as well as education and healthcare institutions - as they modernize identity verification and combat fraud.
Reporting to the General Manager of Public Sector, you'll operate as a strategic partner and chief of staff, driving go-to-market execution, operational excellence, AI-enabled workflows, and cross-functional initiatives that accelerate growth. This is an ideal role for someone from consulting, finance, government, GovTech, or civic technology who thrives in ambiguity and wants broad exposure to senior leadership in a high-growth, pre-IPO environment.
REVENUE & CUSTOMER EXECUTION
- Lead execution of key customer and revenue initiatives, including quarterly business reviews, agency briefings, contract renewals, proof-of-value and pilot readouts, and RFP responses.
- Support renewal and recompete strategies through pricing analysis, financial modeling, scenario planning, and risk assessment.
- Identify expansion opportunities through agency, program, and market analysis.
- Develop executive-ready materials that translate customer, policy, and technical requirements into clear recommendations.
BUSINESS OPERATIONS & CROSS-FUNCTIONAL EXECUTION
- Partner across Sales, Solutions Consulting, Customer Success, Product, Revenue Operations, Finance, and Legal to drive execution across complex public sector sales cycles.
- Own key operating cadences, including deal reviews, forecasting, internal QBRs, leadership meetings, and all-hands.
- Track priorities, dependencies, and follow-ups while proactively identifying and resolving blockers.
- Improve reporting, workflows, and cross-functional processes to increase operational efficiency and visibility.
STRATEGY & LEADERSHIP ENABLEMENT
- Build scalable operating systems, dashboards, AI-enabled workflows, and automation to improve execution.
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to Public Sector leadership, driving high-impact initiatives from concept through execution.
- Conduct ad hoc strategic, financial, and operational analysis to support business decisions.
- Bring structure to ambiguity by balancing strategic planning with day-to-day execution.
