About the role
In the position of Senior Pre-Sales Solution Consultant focused on the gaming sector, you will serve as the primary technical liaison for prospective clients in the realms of online gaming, sports betting, fantasy sports, and predictive analytics. Your responsibilities will include assessing client requirements, crafting tailored onboarding and transaction risk solutions, and demonstrating how Socure's platform can enhance conversion rates, minimize fraud, and improve operational efficiency. This role demands close collaboration with various internal teams to expedite deal cycles and effectively communicate intricate technical information to a wide range of stakeholders.

What you'll do
- Serve as the lead technical authority for opportunities in online gaming, sportsbooks, fantasy sports, and predictive analytics, working closely with Account Executive Directors.
- Conduct discovery sessions with potential clients to gain insights into their business models, risk profiles, and regulatory needs, subsequently designing tailored solutions using Socure's offerings.
- Create comprehensive identity verification and fraud prevention workflows utilizing Socure's products, including API integrations, decision-making logic, and data orchestration, with a focus on gaming-specific challenges such as multi-accounting and bonus exploitation.
- Collaborate with the Data Science team to develop and implement proof-of-concepts (POCs) and backtests for gaming clients, establishing success metrics and presenting the results.
- Share insights from gaming-related deals with Product and Product Marketing teams to guide roadmap planning and external communications.
- Engage in business development activities by crafting demos, presenting solutions, responding to RFPs/RFIs, and assisting in the preparation of statements of work and pricing strategies.
- Provide strategic advice to senior client stakeholders by translating complex statistical and technical concepts into actionable business insights.
- Work alongside post-sales teams to ensure seamless transitions by documenting solution assumptions and identifying potential implementation risks.
- Contribute to the establishment of internal best practices for gaming and sportsbook solutions, while also mentoring junior Solution Consultants.
- Keep abreast of trends in the gaming industry, including fraud tactics and regulations that impact digital onboarding, payment processes, and responsible gaming practices.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of professional experience, with at least 4 years in a client-facing technical role such as solution consulting or sales engineering within enterprise SaaS, data products, or risk and identity management platforms.
- Extensive experience in the online gaming, sportsbook, fantasy sports, or similar regulated digital wagering and payment environments, ideally with a background in digital onboarding, identity verification, or fraud/risk management.
- Proven track record of leading complex pre-sales engagements involving multiple stakeholders, from initial discovery through to technical closure.
- Strong technical knowledge of contemporary SaaS and data architectures, including RESTful APIs, data integrations, rules engines, and machine learning/data science technologies.
- Ability to distill complex statistical and technical information into clear, business-oriented recommendations for diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in bridging the gap between technical and non-technical audiences, showcasing excellent communication skills and an executive presence, particularly when presenting to C-level executives.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Data Science, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams, with a knack for influencing and driving consensus.
