Solutions Engineer - Globals
Job description
About the role
You will own the technical narrative for a single, named global financial services account as a core part of the enterprise sales cycle. Your days will be spent translating the vision of Snowflake's platform into concrete, credible demonstrations that directly address the customer's most pressing data challenges. You will act as a high-trust technical collaborator, using AI not as a novelty but as a pragmatic accelerator for problem solving and faster decision making. Success for you will mean moving from writing code to enabling others, guiding the customer through live experimentation and proof of concept work that uncovers new use cases. You will work with a tight inner circle of Account Executives and internal experts to ensure every technical interaction reinforces the commercial message. Your curiosity will be your compass, as you rapidly test emerging capabilities and reframe complex architecture discussions into clear, customer-centric outcomes. You will be expected to build deep institutional knowledge about the customer's data estate and leverage that insight to drive expansion and long term platform adoption. In this role, your identity is not just a presenter but a trusted advisor who helps define how work gets done in the era of the agentic enterprise.
