What you'll do
You will translate complex product capabilities into clear narratives that resonate with regional technology audiences. You will coordinate with product and marketing teams to align messaging with go-to-market strategies across ASEAN. You will identify and cultivate relationships with influential journalists and analysts in key ASEAN markets. You will develop and place thought leadership content that reinforces Snowflake's authority in data and AI. You will craft press releases, media pitches, and executive briefings that communicate strategic initiatives effectively. You will manage local public relations partners to ensure consistent brand representation in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand. You will support the planning and execution of media programs tied to product launches and regional initiatives. You will identify customer success stories that demonstrate measurable business impact and innovation. You will transform these stories into formats suitable for media, podcasts, and speaking opportunities. You will monitor the media landscape and track the performance of communications initiatives. You will adjust strategies based on insights and emerging trends in the technology sector. You will collaborate with sales and customer success teams to uncover high-impact narrative opportunities. You will ensure that all external communications reflect Snowflake's leadership position and market vision. You will uphold the highest standards of accuracy, clarity, and consistency in every piece of content you produce.
Requirements
You bring eight to ten years of public relations experience in the technology sector, which may be from in-house teams or external agencies. You have worked within or supported key industry segments such as financial services, retail, media, healthcare, manufacturing, telecommunications, or public sector fields. You possess the ability to simplify intricate concepts into compelling narratives that appeal to leaders who prioritize business outcomes. You sustain professional relationships with journalists and analysts in ASEAN markets and use these connections to clarify Snowflake's direction and initiatives. You demonstrate a track record of managing narratives and preparing speakers for public engagements. You can identify newsworthy stories and translate them into impactful press materials and media pitches. You track the impact of communications and adjust strategies based on measurable results and feedback. You have exceptional writing and editing skills, producing accurate content quickly and under tight deadlines. Strong project management abilities are required as you handle multiple initiatives at once without sacrificing quality. You maintain composure and organization in a fast-paced setting, adapting plans while keeping timelines transparent and manageable.
