What you'll do

Develop and maintain automated test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage for our software applications.
Collaborate with software engineers to understand system architecture and design test strategies that align with development goals.
Design and implement testing frameworks that facilitate efficient testing processes and improve overall product quality.
Execute manual and automated testing procedures, documenting results and identifying areas for improvement.
Analyze test results and provide actionable feedback to development teams, ensuring timely resolution of identified issues.
Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices in testing and quality assurance.
Work with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and establish clear acceptance criteria for new features.
Continuously evaluate and enhance testing methodologies, tools, and processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
Mentor junior team members in testing practices and automation techniques, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in software testing, applying relevant insights to improve our practices.
Contribute to the development of test plans and strategies for new projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate testing into the continuous integration and deployment pipeline, promoting a seamless development workflow.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
Strong experience with automated testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or CircleCI.
Solid understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a passion for quality assurance.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Experience with performance testing and security testing is a plus.

Nice to have

Knowledge of cloud services and platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
Experience with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
Familiarity with mobile application testing frameworks.
Understanding of database technologies and SQL for backend testing.
Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) would be advantageous.
