What you'll do
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation through development, launch, and post-launch evaluation, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision and strategy, translating high-level objectives into actionable plans and roadmaps.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer pain points, using insights to inform product decisions.
- Prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer feedback, business value, and technical feasibility, balancing short-term and long-term goals.
- Work closely with engineering teams to define technical requirements and ensure timely delivery of product features, while maintaining high quality standards.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and product specifications, to facilitate clear communication across teams.
- Monitor product performance metrics and user feedback post-launch, using data-driven insights to iterate and improve product offerings continuously.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, ensuring that marketing, sales, and customer support teams are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to effectively promote and support the product.
- Act as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external partners.
- Lead product-related meetings, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, fostering a culture of transparency and continuous improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in product management, actively seeking opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Mentor and support junior product team members, sharing your expertise and fostering their professional growth within the organization.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in a technology-focused environment.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products throughout their lifecycle.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions based on quantitative and qualitative insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools, such as Scrum or Kanban, is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with product management software and tools, such as JIRA, Trello, or Asana, to facilitate project tracking and collaboration.
- A customer-centric mindset, with a passion for understanding user needs and delivering exceptional product experiences.
