Skydio is seeking a Business Systems Manager to oversee and manage the NetSuite ERP environment. This role is critical in ensuring that the enterprise resource planning platform supports operational excellence, maintains financial integrity, and streamlines supply chain execution. You will work closely with multiple departments across the organization to optimize business processes, implement scalable technology solutions, and ensure the smooth functioning of key enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex ERP environments, configuring system modules, and leading system upgrades and integrations. What you'll do
- Act as the primary technical expert and system administrator for enterprise systems such as NetSuite ERP, Coupa, and Ramp, ensuring their stability, performance, and security.
- Configure, customize, and optimize NetSuite modules related to inventory management, procurement, manufacturing, planning, warehousing, order fulfillment, shipping, and finance to meet evolving business needs.
- Design, develop, and maintain workflows, saved searches, dashboards, reports, custom fields, scripts, and automation within NetSuite to improve operational efficiency and enhance user experience.
- Lead end-to-end ERP projects including system implementations, upgrades, module deployments, testing, and ongoing system enhancements from initial design through to production rollout.
- AI technologies to accelerate design, development, and automation processes, creating innovative solutions that address complex business challenges.
- Collaborate closely with business leaders and stakeholders to understand operational requirements and translate these needs into effective, scalable technology solutions.
- Serve as the main point of contact between Finance Systems and other business units, ensuring that technology solutions align with operational goals and financial accuracy.
- Develop, implement, and maintain integrations between NetSuite and external platforms such as P2P systems like Coupa, manufacturing execution systems (MES), product lifecycle management (PLM), and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Establish and uphold ERP governance standards, including documentation, standard operating procedures, and system configuration standards to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Drive enterprise AI enablement initiatives by designing and maintaining MCP (Managed Cloud Platform) integrations across various enterprise systems, enhancing automation and data flow.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and maximize system availability.
- Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring effective utilization of ERP features and automation tools.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in ERP management, automation, and AI to continuously improve system capabilities.
- Lead efforts to document system configurations, workflows, and processes to support compliance and future upgrades.
Requirements
- 5-7+ years of experience managing financial systems, with a proven track record of supporting enterprise-level ERP environments.
- Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience working with NetSuite ERP, including configuration, customization, and system administration.
- Demonstrated experience managing EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and other system integrations to facilitate data exchange between platforms.
- Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of core business processes including finance, manufacturing, inventory management, procurement, warehouse operations, and order fulfillment.
- Experience configuring NetSuite workflows, saved searches, dashboards, custom fields, reports, and automation to improve operational workflows.
- Proficiency with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and other NetSuite development tools to customize and extend system capabilities.
- Experience working with API integrations, particularly REST and SOAP protocols, to connect NetSuite with external systems.
- Proven success supporting ERP implementations, upgrades, and ongoing system enhancements to meet evolving business needs.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience working with P2P (Procure-to-Pay) systems such as Coupa, including integration and configuration.
- Familiarity with additional enterprise systems such as MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), and CRM platforms.
- Knowledge of AI applications in enterprise environments, particularly in automation and data analysis.
