Primary Responsibilities

Clear communication forms the foundation of this duty. You will explain procedures and next steps to patients in a manner that ensures understanding and reduces anxiety. Maintaining the clinical room in a state of readiness for the next patient is a continuous task. You will manage the physical transition of patients, assisting with safe movement between imaging tables and supporting proper positioning as directed by technologists.

Flow management is a critical function. You will coordinate the schedule to ensure technologists can perform examinations without delay or distraction. This involves preparing the necessary instruments and verifying that all tools are functional and stocked. Throughout appointments, you will monitor the room for signs of patient distress or discomfort and communicate these observations to the care team immediately.

The role extends to administrative support. You will assist in maintaining organized workspaces, gathering items for chart review, and ensuring that records are tidy for efficient clinical review. At the conclusion of each visit, you will oversee the checkout process and ensure the space is properly reset for the next appointment.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
