- Uphold rigorous cleanliness and decontamination protocols for all work areas and imaging equipment between patients.
- Collaborate effectively with referring physicians to clarify orders, resolve discrepancies, and improve outpatient efficiency.
- Support the interpretation team by providing concise and accurate procedural notes to facilitate rapid diagnosis.
- Monitor and document all radiation safety procedures to ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory guidelines.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of departmental processes by identifying opportunities for enhanced productivity and safety.
Requirements
You must hold current certification in nuclear medicine technology from a recognized authority. You are required to have a minimum of three years of recent, hands-on clinical experience performing nuclear medicine procedures. Valid state licensure and compliance with all regulatory practice requirements are mandatory for this position. You must possess reliable transportation or alternative commuting options to ensure punctuality for all scheduled appointments. A demonstrated ability to follow written procedures exactly is essential to prevent errors in dosing or image acquisition. Effective verbal and written communication skills are required to explain procedures to patients and answer questions factually and clearly.
