The Mammography Technologist is responsible for the complete imaging journey, from patient arrival through final image review. Key Responsibilities
The technologist begins by confirming patient identity and comfort, preparing the examination room and equipment to ensure a clean and efficient intake process. Positioning the patient correctly and applying the appropriate compression is a critical technical skill, performed to generate high-quality tomosynthesis and screening images that meet strict diagnostic criteria. Immediate evaluation of each image is essential; the technologist must identify artifacts or suboptimal positioning and make necessary adjustments before concluding the exam. Coordination with scheduling personnel and referring physicians ensures that appointment timing and special instructions align, maintaining a clear and continuous care pathway.

Compensation and Location
This full-time position is based at SimonMed's facility located at 6200 S McClintock Dr #114, Tempe, AZ 85283. The compensation range is $38.00 to $42.00 per hour, reflecting the critical nature of the work and the expertise required.
