About the role
Showpad is actively searching for a seasoned professional to integrate into our Total Rewards center of expertise located in Pune, where you will take ownership of managing global compensation and benefits programs with a high degree of autonomy. You will operate under the strategic guidance of our Belgium-based Total Rewards Director, acting as a key contributor to shaping how we attract and retain top-tier talent across our diverse international business units. This position requires a deep commitment to analytical rigor and process excellence, as you will be responsible for interpreting complex datasets to drive equitable pay decisions. You will influence organizational behavior by ensuring that our rewards strategy is both competitive and sustainable in a dynamic market landscape. What you'll do
Analyze intricate market data sets and perform detailed internal pay equity assessments to manage global compensation adjustments and complex equity reviews with precision.
Coordinate the execution of annual merit cycles and strategic compensation planning initiatives, aligning closely with leadership to ensure targets and timelines are met.
Submit comprehensive data to international salary surveys and translate the resulting insights into actionable strategies that support talent objectives.
Calculate short-term incentive payouts accurately for global staff and ensure the timely distribution of performance statements to maintain transparency.
Maintain and administer the internal variable compensation software platform, ensuring data integrity and system efficiency are upheld.
Explain intricate compensation plans to new hires during onboarding and provide ongoing education for existing staff to foster program understanding.
Prepare detailed financial reports that meet the rigorous standards required for board and shareholder reviews, highlighting key metrics and trends.
Oversee benefit plan governance by collaborating closely with brokers, vendors, and internal People Operations teams throughout the renewal processes to ensure seamless execution.
Research emerging industry trends to refine our benefits offerings and identify sustainable cost-saving improvements without compromising employee experience.
Monitor regulatory changes across various jurisdictions to ensure compliance and adjust program structures as necessary to mitigate risk.
Conduct scenario modeling and what-if analyses to support leadership in making informed decisions regarding total rewards strategy.
Serve as the subject matter expert within the Pune center of expertise, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders on rewards policies and procedures.
Validate data accuracy in compensation and benefits systems, resolving discrepancies to ensure reporting reliability and consistency.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives by identifying bottlenecks in existing processes and implementing solutions that enhance efficiency and user satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bring 3 to 5 years of progressive experience within a Rewards department, HR Controlling, or as a Tax consultant at a Big 4 firm to this role.
- Demonstrate the capacity to manage complex projects independently from initial scoping through successful delivery.
- Exhibit the ability to utilize data for strategic decision-making, transforming raw information into clear recommendations.
- Possess experience working in a global, high-speed corporate environment where priorities shift rapidly and adaptability is essential.
- Show skill in managing multiple deadlines simultaneously without compromising the quality of your output.
- Maintain a high level of discretion when handling sensitive financial and personnel data, ensuring confidentiality is always preserved.
- Have experience collaborating with senior stakeholders and cross-functional departments to align on goals and resolve issues.
- Communicate with strong verbal and written skills, focusing on clarity and service delivery to internal clients.
