About the role
This position represents a critical operational function where you will investigate inventory discrepancies reported by the Operations team and perform physical inventory cycle counts to reconcile variances. You will communicate updates and relay important operational information directly to the ICQA Lead to ensure alignment across teams. In this role, you will resolve merchant-facing requests around inventory-related issues and ensure timely communications to the MC team for any orders that cannot be fulfilled due to inventory discrepancies. You are expected to comprehend cycle counts and inventory control processes according to written Standard Operating Procedures. A core part of this position involves ensuring inventory variances are researched and resolved in a timely manner, allowing for the uninterrupted fulfillment of outbound orders. This role includes significant responsibility for ensuring products are handled, stored, and distributed in a manner that maintains their safety, quality, and legality.

What you'll do
Investigate inventory discrepancies reported by the Operations team to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Perform physical inventory cycle counts and reconcile inventory variances to ensure records accurately reflect on-hand stock.
Communicate updates and relay important operational information about clients directly to the ICQA Lead for prompt decision-making.
Resolve merchant facing requests around inventory related issues and provide timely, accurate responses to stakeholder inquiries.
Demonstrate comprehension of cycle counts and inventory control processes according to written SOP's to ensure procedural compliance.
Ensure inventory variances are researched and resolved in a timely manner, allowing fulfillment of outbound orders to proceed without delay.
Ensure timely communications to the MC team for any orders not able to be fulfilled due to inventory discrepancies to prevent service disruptions.
This role includes responsibility for ensuring products are handled, stored, and distributed in a manner that maintains their safety, quality, and legality through adherence to established protocols.
Team members are expected to follow all standard operating procedures, report any concerns related to product condition or integrity, and support traceability through accurate record-keeping.
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and product safety awareness within the operational environment.
This position requires the ability to multitask and handle multiple issues simultaneously without stress while maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
Additional duties and responsibilities as necessary to support the broader goals of the Supply Chain and ICQA teams.
Requirements
Demonstrates the ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions and solve problems in a timely fashion.
Ability to determine inventory discrepancies, perform physical inventory cycle counts, and reconcile inventory variances with a high degree of accuracy.
Possesses effective written and verbal communication skills; displays strong reading comprehension skills to interpret SOPs and operational instructions.
Displays the ability to multitask and handle multiple issues at the same time without stress in a fast-paced environment.
Displays meticulous attention to detail to ensure inventory records are precise and discrepancies are addressed promptly.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without any health limitations to perform essential job functions safely.
Able to stand and walk continuously during and up to an 8-10hr shift to meet operational demands.
Able to bend, stoop, reach above, and push/pull frequently as required by warehouse operations.
May be required to flex into other departments as needed to support operational continuity and team objectives.
Nice to have
Possess prior experience in inventory management, quality control, or a related logistics role.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and product integrity standards.
Practical notes
This role operates during shifts including the 1st shift and night shift. The position requires the ability to work extended hours on your feet and involves regular lifting, bending, and reaching. Applicants must be able to perform the essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation. The work environment involves exposure to warehouse conditions, including noise and moderate physical activity. Consistent adherence to safety and product handling protocols is mandatory.
