About the role
You will design and maintain the cloud infrastructure and developer platform supporting Moveworks AI. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional engineering groups to shape the DevOps roadmap and drive complex technical initiatives from start to finish. You will own the end to end lifecycle of critical infrastructure components, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical excellence. The position requires proactive identification of system bottlenecks and the implementation of robust solutions that enhance reliability and scalability. You will act as a key technical partner to multiple product teams, guiding them on infrastructure best practices and standards. This role demands strong ownership, where you will drive initiatives from conception through production deployment and optimization. You will contribute to the strategic planning of the platform, influencing long term architectural decisions and technology direction. Collaboration with security, operations, and development teams is central to ensuring a cohesive and resilient infrastructure ecosystem.

What you'll do
- Architect and manage cloud infrastructure across multiple regions to ensure high performance, security, and cost efficiency.
- Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using infrastructure as code to manage the application stack.
- Partner with the security team to harden infrastructure and improve overall system protection.
- Collaborate with machine learning, data, search, platform, and frontend teams to identify and address infrastructure requirements.
- Implement and operate robust monitoring and alerting systems to ensure system health and rapid incident response.
- Optimize cloud resource utilization to achieve significant cost savings and improve operational efficiency.
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execution to ensure business continuity and data integrity.
- Define and enforce infrastructure security policies and best practices across all deployed services.
- Evaluate and integrate new cloud services and technologies to maintain a competitive technical advantage.
- Mentor junior engineers on infrastructure tools, processes, and cloud platform capabilities.
- Drive the adoption of infrastructure automation to reduce manual intervention and human error.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to plan and execute large scale infrastructure migrations.
- Analyze system performance metrics to guide infrastructure scaling and architectural improvements.
- Contribute to the development of internal developer tools that enhance team productivity and deployment velocity.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering.
- Proficiency in AWS cloud architecture, including IAM roles, security groups, Cloud Formation, and Elastic Load Balancers.
- Deep understanding of networking concepts such as VPN, DNS, and AWS VPC.
- Hands on experience managing Kubernetes clusters and Istio.
- Familiarity with disaster recovery protocols, data replication, encryption, AWS KMS, and vulnerability scanning.
- Proven ability to own projects from conception through delivery.
- Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and shell scripting for automation tasks.
- Experience with version control systems, specifically Git, for infrastructure code management.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, agile environment with changing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with technical and non technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem solving skills and a keen attention to detail in complex technical scenarios.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and cloud service offerings.
- Commitment to following established security protocols and compliance requirements.

- Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Helm.
Nice to have
- Experience with ServiceNow platform technologies is a plus.
- Knowledge of AI and machine learning infrastructure requirements is preferred.
- Familiarity with container orchestration and service mesh technologies beyond Kubernetes and Istio.
Practical notes
- Base pay range is $143,200 to $243,000, plus equity and incentive compensation.
