About the role
Sendbird is seeking a Partnership & GTM Intern to join the Finance and Operations team in Seoul, South Korea. In this role, you will provide critical support as we expand our AI-driven communication platform. The position involves owning end-to-end support for partnership development and go-to-market (GTM) initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing potential business partnerships that align with our strategic objectives. This includes executing GTM strategies to ensure our communication and AI products effectively reach target markets. A core component of the role is conducting in-depth market research to monitor industry trends, analyze competitor strategies, and track regulatory landscapes. You will translate these findings into actionable insights. Key responsibilities also include preparing detailed internal reports, dynamic dashboards, and presentations that clearly articulate partnership performance metrics and key learnings. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as sales, product, and engineering is central to this position, as you will work to streamline operational workflows and remove barriers to efficiency. What you'll do
- Support the identification, evaluation, and full lifecycle management of new business partnerships, from initial outreach and due diligence through to execution and performance review.
- Assist in the execution, optimization, and measurement of go-to-market initiatives for Sendbird's comprehensive suite of communication and AI products.
- Conduct primary and secondary market research to track evolving industry trends, analyze competitor strategies, and monitor regulatory environments.
- Gather, analyze, and synthesize complex data sets to generate clear, actionable market insights that inform strategic decision-making.
- Prepare detailed internal reports, interactive dashboards, and professional presentations that articulate partnership performance metrics, key learnings, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to streamline operational workflows, identify bottlenecks, and remove cross-functional barriers.
- Monitor and document the competitive landscape to ensure our GTM strategies remain differentiated, relevant, and effective in a rapidly evolving market.
- Provide administrative support for partnership meetings, including drafting contract review materials and facilitating stakeholder communications.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of process documentation that enhances team scalability, repeatability, and knowledge sharing.
- Act as a primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment on objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Support the tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of partnership and GTM activities against predefined goals.
- Assist in the preparation of compelling materials, such as proposals and value propositions, tailored for both internal and external audiences.
Requirements
- Current student or recent graduate with a demonstrated interest in business operations, partnerships, or marketing, seeking to apply academic knowledge in a professional setting.
- Ability to work from our Seoul office on a consistent basis during the internship period, ensuring reliable presence and engagement with the team.
- Strong communication skills in professional settings, including both written and verbal proficiency, to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to organize complex data, interpret findings accurately, and present market insights in a clear and concise manner.
