Key facts
What you'll do
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews with potential candidates.
- Maintain and update employee records in our HR management system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing orientation materials and conducting initial training sessions.
- Help manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks, while addressing any inquiries from staff.
- Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement employee engagement initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture.
- Assist in the preparation of HR reports and metrics to track employee performance, turnover rates, and other key indicators.
- Provide administrative support for performance appraisal processes, including scheduling reviews and compiling feedback.
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and other HR-related matters.
- Support training and development initiatives by coordinating logistics for workshops and seminars.
- Help manage compliance with labor laws and regulations, ensuring that the company adheres to all relevant legal requirements.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes and employee satisfaction.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming environment in the HR office, ensuring that all visitors and employees feel valued and respected.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in an HR support role or similar position.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR management software.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Familiarity with HR software such as BambooHR or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of additional languages is a plus, particularly French or Italian.
- Previous experience in a multinational company or diverse work environment.
- Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is an advantage.
