About the role
Scopely Explore is seeking a marketing leader to drive the regional strategy for Pikmin Bloom across APAC, including Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asia. You will manage localized campaigns and cross-functional partnerships to grow player engagement and revenue while integrating AI workflows into your daily operations. In this capacity, you will define the narrative of the game in each distinct market, ensuring that messaging resonates with local cultural nuances and player expectations. You will act as the central marketing authority for Pikmin Bloom, aligning creative concepts with business objectives across the region. The role requires fluency in both Japanese and English to navigate internal and external communications effectively. You will leverage emerging technologies to interpret market signals and translate them into actionable marketing strategies. Success in this position will be measured by your ability to scale engagement metrics while maintaining brand integrity.

What you'll do
- Direct product marketing initiatives for Pikmin Bloom across the APAC region, shaping go-to-market strategies.
- Design and implement localized campaigns that reflect regional market trends and player habits, adapting content for cultural relevance.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external agencies, and IP partners to execute ATL, digital, and community-based events seamlessly.
- Use data to track performance metrics such as DAU, WAU, acquisition, and ROI, deriving insights to inform future optimizations.
- Apply AI tools to analyze market feedback and streamline campaign planning, reducing manual overhead and increasing accuracy.
- Manage regional marketing budgets and evaluate the effectiveness of investments to maximize return on marketing spend.
- Collaborate with Product, PR, and Game Design departments to support game launches and ensure cohesive messaging.
- Travel domestically and internationally to oversee live events and partnerships, ensuring on-ground execution matches strategic intent.
- Work in the office every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday to facilitate synchronous collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Conduct competitive analysis within the gaming sector to identify opportunities and threats in the APAC landscape.
- Develop creative briefs that articulate the vision for marketing initiatives to creative and media teams.
- Monitor competitor activities and market shifts to adjust strategies in a timely and effective manner.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives and performance indicators.
- Document processes and outcomes to create a repository of knowledge for future marketing endeavors.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or equivalent professional experience, demonstrating a foundational understanding of marketing principles.
- Minimum of 7 years in product marketing within gaming, consumer tech, or entertainment, showcasing a track record of success.
- Fluency in both Japanese and English, enabling clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage integrated marketing campaigns and external vendors, ensuring deliverables meet high standards.
- Practical experience using AI tools for marketing analysis or workflow optimization to enhance productivity.
- Strong understanding of APAC consumer dynamics, including cultural, social, and economic factors influencing behavior.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across different time zones, balancing priorities and expectations effectively.
- Experience working within strict brand and legal frameworks to ensure compliance and consistency.
- Demonstrated capability to analyze complex data sets and translate findings into strategic recommendations.
- Willingness to adapt to rapidly changing market conditions and pivot strategies as necessary.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate ideas to diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality.

This role requires a hybrid schedule with 3 days of in-office presence per week, fostering collaboration while allowing flexibility.
