About the role
Scopely is seeking a Lead Technical Product Manager to join their team based in the United States. This role leads product strategy and execution for technical product initiatives across the organization. The Lead Technical Product Manager works closely with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to define and deliver product roadmaps. This position owns the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery through launch and iteration, driving outcomes that align with company objectives and user needs.

What you'll do
- Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for assigned product areas within the organization
- Partner with engineering leaders to translate business objectives into technical product requirements and detailed user stories
- Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, design, data science, and operations to deliver measurable product outcomes
- Prioritize product backlogs and make informed trade-off decisions based on data, user feedback, and business impact
- Drive the planning and execution of product releases across multiple sprints and quarterly delivery milestones
- Analyze product performance metrics and user behavior data to inform iterative improvements and feature refinements
- Represent the product function in leadership reviews and organizational planning sessions on a regular basis
- Coordinate with external partners and vendors when product integrations or third-party solution requirements arise
- Mentor and guide junior product managers on product development practices, methodologies, and best approaches
- Ensure product decisions align with company goals, regulatory requirements, and the needs of end users
- Collaborate with marketing and growth teams to ensure product launches are supported by go-to-market strategies
- Own the product requirements document and ensure alignment between technical feasibility and business priorities
- Work with data science teams to define key performance indicators and success metrics for product initiatives
- Facilitate product discovery sessions and user research activities to uncover new opportunities and validate assumptions
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience leading technical product teams in a fast-paced technology environment
- Strong understanding of product development lifecycles, agile methodologies, and continuous delivery practices and principles
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences effectively
- Experience managing product roadmaps and prioritizing features based on business value and user impact
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related technical field from an accredited institution
- Significant experience working with engineering teams to ship software products through full development cycles
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and evidence to drive product decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder management, documentation, and cross-team coordination
- Track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with engineering and design partners
- Familiarity with product analytics tools and experimentation frameworks for measuring product success
- Experience working in a product-driven organization with a focus on data-informed decision making
- Ability to manage multiple product initiatives simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
Nice to have
- Experience with interactive entertainment products and consumer-facing platforms in a production environment
- Familiarity with mobile and web application development frameworks and modern software architectures
- Background in working with live operations, ongoing product iteration, and continuous feature release cycles
- Prior experience managing products that serve large and diverse user bases at significant scale
- Knowledge of monetization models, user acquisition strategies, and product growth frameworks and methodologies

- The Lead Technical Product Manager reports to senior leadership within the product organization at Scopely
- Regular collaboration with distributed teams across multiple time zones within the United States is expected
- This position involves active participation in sprint ceremonies, product reviews, and planning sessions throughout the work week
- The Lead Technical Product Manager is expected to maintain detailed product documentation and communicate updates to all relevant stakeholders on an ongoing basis
