About the role
This role places you at the center of one of the most successful 4X MMOs in mobile, where your work will directly influence how millions of players experience Star Trek online. You will own the strategic planning and execution of live content initiatives that drive sustained player engagement and healthy revenue growth over the long term. You will act as the primary product voice for the live game, translating high-level creative and business goals into clear, actionable plans for engineering and design. Success in this position requires a balance of creative vision and analytical rigor, ensuring every event and feature aligns with both player expectations and business objectives. You will collaborate daily with cross-functional partners to iterate on live systems and keep the game competitive in a crowded market. Your decisions will shape the player journey from first contact with the game to long-term retention and monetization. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and pacing of the live content calendar while optimizing for key performance indicators. Ultimately, this role is about stewarding the ongoing evolution of a major live service title and ensuring its continued relevance in the competitive mobile space.

What you'll do
- Orchestrate the end-to-end execution of the live content calendar, managing events and promotional offers from concept to launch.
- Mine player behavior data and game metrics to uncover actionable insights and prioritize high-impact growth opportunities.
- Synthesize findings from cross-functional discussions to ship content that balances player satisfaction with business performance targets.
- Harmonize progression systems by coordinating closely with economy and game design teams to ensure fairness and long-term engagement.
- Analyze feature and event performance post-launch, then recommend data-driven adjustments based on qualitative feedback and quantitative results.
- Author comprehensive product documentation, dynamic roadmaps, and clearly defined KPIs to align stakeholders on strategic intent.
- Lead competitive research initiatives and construct robust business cases for introducing new content concepts or systemic features.
- Partner with QA and analytics teams to design and support experiments that test hypotheses and de-risk product decisions.
- Translate ambiguous problems into structured product strategies, defining success metrics and validating outcomes through iterative testing.
- Act as the central point for live operations decisions, ensuring all in-game changes meet quality standards and community expectations.
Requirements
- Demonstrated background in product management, with a strong preference for experience in free-to-play mobile or live service games.
- Proven analytical ability and comfort using data to drive complex decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep understanding of core F2P mechanics, including player retention tactics and monetization principles across live service titles.
- Experience collaborating across multiple teams and disciplines in a matrixed, deadline-driven environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to distill technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Highly organized with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines without sacrificing quality.

Practical notes
- This position requires a daily overlap from 9:30 PM to 11:30 PM IST to sync with the Los Angeles team; this window is mandatory.
- During the initial ramp-up period, availability is also expected roughly between 10:30 AM and 4:30 PM IST, with some flexibility.
- Candidates should be comfortable with a split schedule during onboarding, maintaining at least two hours of guaranteed U.S. overlap.
