About the role
Scopely Explore is hiring a senior marketing leader to guide the North American strategy and growth of Pikmin Bloom, a geo-location mobile game that launched globally in October 2021 and now has millions of players worldwide. You will oversee all regional marketing efforts spanning user acquisition, community engagement, partnerships, and live events. This position requires close collaboration with teams in both North America and Japan to maintain consistency across global initiatives.

What you'll do
- Set and execute the complete marketing vision for Pikmin Bloom in North America, focusing on player acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue growth
- Build and manage a regional marketing organization covering user acquisition, social and community marketing, partnerships, live events, and campaign delivery
- Convert product and business goals into operational marketing plans with clear, measurable outcomes
- Develop product positioning, messaging frameworks, and audience strategies based on player research, market trends, and competitor analysis
- Plan and run go-to-market efforts for major releases, seasonal campaigns, feature launches, partnerships, and real-world activations
- Coordinate with Product Management, Game Design, Engineering, Business Development, Operations, Communications, Legal, Analytics, and executive leadership
- Facilitate alignment between North American and Japan-based stakeholders on global marketing programs
- Manage the regional marketing budget, including resource planning, forecasting, ROI tracking, and optimization
- Define performance targets and KPIs covering awareness, acquisition, DAU, WAU, retention, engagement, ARPU, and revenue contribution
- Analyze campaign results through data, testing, and market insights to refine strategies and spending
- Cultivate relationships with agencies, platform partners, media partners, and IP stakeholders
- Lead hiring, coaching, and professional development for the marketing team
- Build a collaborative, inclusive, and accountable team culture suited to a fast-moving global organization
- Identify operational risks early and create scalable processes for sustained growth
- Promote the adoption of AI tools and automation to improve workflows, campaign performance, and team productivity
- Investigate practical uses of emerging AI capabilities in creative development, audience insights, reporting, and campaign optimization
Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent hands-on experience
- 12+ years in marketing, gaming, entertainment, or consumer technology, with substantial time in mobile or live-service gaming
- Track record leading integrated marketing strategy and execution for large consumer products or live-service titles
- Experience managing and developing high-performing marketing teams, including managers and senior individual contributors
- Deep knowledge of product positioning, go-to-market planning, user acquisition, engagement, retention, and lifecycle marketing
- Strong background overseeing paid media strategy and execution, including creative development, agency oversight, media planning and buying, campaign optimization, and performance analysis
- History of leading cross-functional projects involving multiple internal teams, external partners, and executives
- Solid business judgment with the ability to balance strategy, execution, and financial results
- Experience managing significant marketing budgets and measuring ROI against business targets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including executive-level presentations
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and consumer insights for decision-making
- Comfort working in a fast-paced hybrid setting with shifting priorities and ambiguity

Practical notes
- Annual salary range for candidates in CA, CO, NJ, NY, and WA: $161,500 to $238,000 USD
- Additional compensation may include equity and bonuses
