About the role

As a , you will play a role in the successful execution of engineering projects within our organization. Based in Easton, Washington, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of project management, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your expertise will be crucial in coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing resources, and implementing innovative engineering solutions that align with our company's objectives.

What you'll do

Lead and manage engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, to define project scope and objectives.
Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
Conduct regular project meetings to monitor progress, address challenges, and communicate updates to all stakeholders.

Prepare and present technical reports and documentation to support project decisions and facilitate communication among team members.
Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring that all resources are available when needed to avoid project delays.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in engineering practices, applying new knowledge to improve project outcomes.
Assist in the development of project budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring expenditures to ensure alignment with financial goals.
Address and resolve any project-related issues or conflicts in a timely and effective manner, maintaining positive relationships with all parties involved.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) from an accredited institution.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in project engineering or a related role, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies, including familiarity with Agile and Waterfall approaches.
Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) and project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera).
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating leadership and collaboration skills.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Nice to have

Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
Experience in a specific industry sector relevant to Scarsellabros, such as construction, manufacturing, or renewable energy.
Familiarity with environmental regulations and sustainability practices in engineering.
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and their application in project management.
Experience with contract negotiation and management.
Multilingual skills, particularly in Spanish or Mandarin, are a plus.
