Pre-Sales Solutions Architect
Job description
About the role
You will serve as the primary technical consultant for clients and prospects during the initial and mid-stages of their engagement, owning the design and validation of complex GPU infrastructure solutions. You will analyze intricate AI workloads including training, fine-tuning, inference, agents, and RAG to translate abstract business goals into concrete technical frameworks. This role requires you to qualify technical constraints and convert them into compelling business value and clear architectural vision for decision-makers. You will design, blueprint, and provision custom GPU clusters and distributed architectures that align with Scaleway's sovereign cloud principles. Furthermore, you will organize and execute Proof of Concepts to rigorously demonstrate technical viability and performance benchmarks. You will collaborate internally with product, hardware, and network teams to ensure solutions are feasible, robust, and aligned with the company's strategic roadmap. Additionally, you will partner with sales teams to de-risk large-scale deals and accelerate the closing process through technical credibility. Finally, you will contribute to the analysis of market trends to influence the continuous improvement of our GPU cluster product lines.
Key facts
What you'll do
Investigate and analyze detailed client AI workloads to uncover infrastructure bottlenecks and opportunities for optimization using GPU clusters.
Translate complex technical constraints regarding computational power, networking, and data management into clear business value propositions for C-level stakeholders.
Design and blueprint tailored GPU cluster architectures, selecting appropriate hardware and software stacks for sovereign cloud deployments.
Engage directly with clients and prospects to build trust, clarify requirements, and present sophisticated technical solutions with confidence.
Collaborate with internal hardware and product teams to validate the feasibility of custom GPU cluster designs and infrastructure proposals.
Organize and execute Proof of Concepts that validate technical hypotheses and demonstrate the viability of proposed architectures to skeptical stakeholders.
Partner with sales teams to identify roadblocks in the procurement process and provide the technical arguments necessary to close large-scale deals.
Coordinate with internal experts in networking, storage, and distributed systems to ensure end-to-end solution integrity and performance.
Evaluate emerging AI infrastructure trends and competitor solutions to refine our product offerings and maintain a competitive edge in the European market.
Proactively anticipate future client needs and participate in the definition of new services, associated SLAs, and support models for GPU-intensive workloads.
Conduct detailed technical presentations that articulate the benefits of Scaleway's sovereign cloud infrastructure to technical and executive audiences.
