What you'll do

• Design and implement scalable and robust software solutions for our platform, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to user requests.
• Collaborate with product managers and UX/UI designers to translate business requirements into technical specifications and functional features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to help them grow their skills and knowledge.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating relevant advancements into our platform as appropriate.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline deployment processes and enhance the overall development workflow.
• Contribute to the documentation of software designs, architecture, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on features to ensure they meet user needs and expectations.
• Assist in the integration of third-party APIs and services to enhance platform functionality and user experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience, with a focus on platform development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, with a strong understanding of their ecosystems.
• Experience with web frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js) and backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Spring, or Django).
• Solid understanding of database systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases, and experience with data modeling and management.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and familiarity with CI/CD practices.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of software asset management principles and practices.
• Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Trello.
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of personal projects.
• Understanding of security best practices in software development.
