What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications that facilitate satellite operations, including data acquisition and processing systems.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and data scientists, to ensure integration of software and hardware components.
- Implement and optimize algorithms for data processing, ensuring high efficiency and accuracy in satellite imagery analysis.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and share knowledge with team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to satellite operations.
- Contribute to the development of software architecture and design patterns that support scalability and maintainability.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development, preferably in aerospace, robotics, or a related domain.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java, with a strong understanding of software development principles.
- Experience with software development methodologies, particularly Agile and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Experience with satellite communication protocols and data formats.
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques and their application in satellite data analysis.
