What you'll do

• Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures tailored to our satellite operations and data management systems.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities within our systems and networks.
• Collaborate with software developers to integrate security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Monitor security alerts and incidents, responding promptly to mitigate risks and ensure the integrity of our systems.
• Design and maintain security architecture for cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a security engineering role, preferably within the aerospace or technology sectors.
• Strong understanding of security protocols, cryptography, and network security principles.
• Experience with security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners.
• Familiarity with cloud security practices and tools, particularly in AWS or Azure environments.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure during security incidents.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable.
