What you'll do
- Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures tailored to our satellite operations and data management systems.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities within our systems and networks.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a security engineering role, preferably within the aerospace or technology sectors.
- Strong understanding of security protocols, cryptography, and network security principles.
- Experience with security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners.
- Familiarity with cloud security practices and tools, particularly in AWS or Azure environments.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure during security incidents.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable.
