What you'll do

• Design and implement backend services and APIs that are scalable and maintainable, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, enhancing the overall user experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js, with a solid understanding of their frameworks and libraries.
• Experience with database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases, and a strong understanding of data modeling principles.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, and experience with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies, particularly Agile and DevOps practices, and experience working in an iterative development environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with GraphQL and its implementation in backend systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks to enhance deployment processes.
• Knowledge of message brokers and event-driven architectures, such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
