What you'll do

Perform comprehensive evaluations of AI generated Hindi text to detect inaccuracies or unnatural phrasing.

Conduct pairwise comparisons between different AI responses to determine which is more accurate, fluent, and contextually appropriate.

Execute structured counting tasks to quantify occurrences of specific linguistic patterns or data points.

Assign precise tags and labels to audio, video, image based content, and collected data to support machine learning pipelines.

Gather new data samples that reflect diverse dialects and registers of spoken and written Hindi.

Assess the quality of existing datasets and flag segments that require correction or removal due to noise or bias.

Organize and categorize reference materials to build structured inventories that improve model training processes.

Monitor your own workflow to ensure that repetitive tasks remain consistent and free from systematic errors.

Apply strict criteria for data integrity, rejecting submissions that do not meet predefined standards for accuracy.

Collaborate indirectly with engineering teams by providing well documented insights derived from your annotations.

Review ambiguous or edge case examples and document patterns that reveal gaps in current AI capabilities.

Maintain detailed records of your decisions during the annotation process to support transparency and reproducibility.

Adapt annotation guidelines dynamically as new requirements emerge from ongoing project objectives.

Support the creation of benchmarks that measure progress in Hindi language understanding over time.

Requirements

You must be a native speaker of Hindi with an intuitive grasp of colloquial expressions and formal registers.

You must possess fluent or advanced English language skills at levels B2 through C2 to understand instructions and interface tools.

You must have the legal right to work in the location specified under Location, which is listed as New Delhi.

You must be able to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week on a consistent basis.

You must be available to start immediately and sustain focus across detailed, repetitive tasks.

You must own a reliable internet connection and a suitable device capable of handling multimedia files.

You must be comfortable working independently with minimal direct supervision.

You must demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy in repetitive work.

Nice to have

Prior experience with machine learning tasks, such as data collection, preprocessing, evaluation, or annotation is strongly preferred.

This is a freelance opportunity with a flexible schedule of 10 or more hours per week.
