Social Media Content Evaluator
Job description
About the role
You will stand at the intersection of artificial intelligence and media analysis, helping to define how language is understood in digital environments. Your work will directly influence the quality and accuracy of machine learning models that process video content on a global scale. Every decision you make in reviewing short-form media contributes to the creation of reliable, real world data that trains automated systems. You will own the complete evaluation lifecycle, from initial language detection through to the final validation of cultural appropriateness. This is a hands on position where your attention to detail determines the integrity of critical training datasets. You will be shaping the future of artificial intelligence and media analysis through a disciplined, evidence based review process. By validating language within your native locale, you ensure that the resulting ground truth data reflects authentic usage and context. Your role will be essential in maintaining the high standards required for developing robust, ethically aligned media analysis tools.
Key facts
What you'll do
Conduct a thorough media evaluation by watching short-form video clips and identifying every language present in both spoken audio and on screen text. Utilize your native locale to perform rigorous locale validation, confirming that the media content uses authentic language and aligns with the cultural context of the target audience. Generate highly accurate ground truth labels by operating internal classification tools and adhering strictly to project guidelines and methodological precision. Perform detailed quality assurance checks to ensure data consistency, completeness, and compliance with the high standards required for training automated machine learning models. Follow strict photography and data entry guidelines, applying a meticulous approach that safeguards the reliability of each submitted record. Support the systematic labeling process by distinguishing clear, verifiable language use from ambiguous or mixed language scenarios in dynamic video formats. Contribute to the integrity of the overall project by maintaining a consistent daily work schedule of four hours, with flexibility to choose when within the day this work is completed. Act as a critical reviewer of media content, ensuring that linguistic and cultural nuances are captured with a high level of accuracy and professional judgment. Document observations and outcomes in a structured manner that supports traceability, transparency, and reproducibility in data generation. Collaborate indirectly with broader project teams by delivering clean, validated data that can be reliably used in downstream model training and analysis activities.
Requirements
You must be currently living in Latin America, which is a mandatory condition for participation in this role. You must demonstrate native level written and spoken fluency in Spanish, ensuring that linguistic nuances are understood and applied correctly. You must have access to a reliable, high-speed internet connection that supports uninterrupted streaming and downloading of video content. You must use a secure personal computer or laptop that meets all technical and security standards defined by the project framework. You must be capable of strictly following detailed photography and data entry guidelines without deviation or oversight. You must show an ability to maintain consistent focus and accuracy across repetitive tasks over extended periods of time. You must be available to commit to a daily work schedule of four hours, with the flexibility to manage your own hours as long as the minimum time is fulfilled. You must be able to start immediately and sustain engagement over a temporary or contract based timeline to be determined. You must communicate clearly and professionally in Spanish, both in written reports and any necessary documentation. You must comply with all internal quality standards and procedural requirements established by the project guidelines.
Nice to have
Previous experience in data annotation, content moderation, translation, transcription, or linguistic QA is a strong asset for this role and may enhance your contributions. An understanding of best practices in media evaluation and cultural contextualization is valued where applicable. Familiarity with secure data handling procedures and basic quality assurance methodologies is considered a beneficial trait. Comfort with structured classification systems and the use of internal tools will help you integrate more smoothly into the workflow. A disciplined approach to meeting daily quotas while preserving high accuracy will be recognized as a positive indicator of reliability.
