About the role
This role owns the end-to-end coordination of commissioning activities for hyperscale and mission critical data center construction projects delivered by Rowan Digital Infrastructure. The hire will administer the CxAlloy platform to ensure all testing, documentation, deficiencies, and closeout deliverables are tracked and resolved in a structured and auditable manner. They will act as the central coordination point between Commissioning Agents, General Contractors, Engineers, vendors, and the Owner team to maintain project momentum. The position requires a hands-on understanding of the commissioning process beyond simple document control to actively support testing, issue resolution, and project execution. The successful candidate will ensure that all Pre-Functional Checklists, Functional Performance Tests, and Integrated Systems Testing are accurately recorded and completed on schedule. They will own the maintenance of project dashboards, reports, and turnover packages to facilitate Owner acceptance and project closeout. This role is critical in driving efficiency, quality, and flexibility in data center delivery in alignment with Rowan's mission for sustainable infrastructure.

What you'll do
- Support commissioning activities from project kickoff through final turnover and closeout, ensuring seamless execution across all project phases.
- Coordinate and maintain comprehensive commissioning documentation, records, and deliverables throughout the entire project lifecycle for auditability and traceability.
- Track Pre-Functional Checklists (PFCs), Functional Performance Tests (FPTs), Integrated Systems Testing (IST), deficiencies, issues, and commissioning closeout documentation with meticulous accuracy.
- Coordinate the collection, review, and tracking of commissioning documentation from Commissioning Agents, contractors, vendors, engineers, and internal project teams to ensure completeness.
- Monitor commissioning deliverables, testing status, deficiencies, and documentation deadlines to proactively identify and mitigate schedule risks.
- Support Commissioning Managers in preparing for commissioning activities, testing events, meetings, and key project milestones by coordinating resources and materials.
- Maintain commissioning turnover packages and all documentation required for Owner acceptance, ensuring alignment with project requirements and standards.
- Identify missing, incomplete, or inconsistent commissioning documentation and coordinate resolution with responsible parties to close gaps efficiently.
- Serve as a primary CxAlloy user and project administrator for assigned commissioning projects, overseeing the platform's configuration and data integrity.
- Create, configure, organize, and maintain commissioning project information within CxAlloy to support transparent and real-time project visibility.
- Upload, review, organize, and maintain commissioning documentation and test records within CxAlloy, ensuring all entries are accurate and up to date.
- Manage commissioning workflows, checklists, issues, deficiencies, testing status, and project records in CxAlloy to streamline processes and accountability.
- Maintain accurate project dashboards, reports, logs, and status information to provide clear insights into commissioning progress and performance.
- Generate CxAlloy reports for Commissioning Managers, project leadership, Owners, and other stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Assist with developing and maintaining standardized CxAlloy templates, workflows, and commissioning documentation processes to improve consistency and efficiency.
- Support project teams with CxAlloy training, user support, and troubleshooting to ensure effective adoption and usage across the organization.
- Help ensure CxAlloy data accurately reflects current project status and commissioning progress, enabling reliable reporting and tracking.
- Coordinate with Commissioning Managers, Construction Managers, General Contractors, Engineers, Owners, vendors, and other project stakeholders to ensure alignment on commissioning objectives.
- Attend commissioning and project coordination meetings, documenting action items, decisions, and follow-up requirements to maintain accountability.
- Track outstanding documentation, deficiencies, testing requirements, and other commissioning deliverables to ensure timely completion and closure.
- Communicate status, schedule impacts, and outstanding requirements to the appropriate project stakeholders to foster proactive issue resolution.
- Support commissioning schedule updates and project reporting, providing timely data to support portfolio-level oversight.
- Assist with coordination of commissioning activities across multiple projects and project teams to optimize resource utilization and timelines.
Requirements
Candidates must have a strong working knowledge of commissioning processes and best practices within the data center or mission critical facility sector. The ideal candidate will demonstrate hands-on experience supporting commissioning activities and be proficient in the use of CxAlloy for project administration and documentation management. A background in managing commissioning documentation, testing records, deficiencies, and closeout deliverables is essential for success in this role. The candidate must be able to demonstrate experience coordinating with Commissioning Agents, Contractors, Engineers, Owners, and vendors to resolve commissioning related issues. They must be highly organized, detail oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment while maintaining accurate records in CxAlloy. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required to effectively interact with project stakeholders and prepare clear commissioning status reports. The candidate must be comfortable using technology platforms to manage complex data and workflows, with a proven ability to learn and apply new software tools efficiently. Willingness to travel up to 15% for company gatherings or to project sites is required as part of this role.
